" Last night I was part of a comedy show called Capital City Comedy (C3 for short) that performed at a pub in Ottawa called Pier 21. The place was packed with 200 tickets sold before the show. Six comedians went on before me, each one doing really, really well. I went on, did my ten minutes, enjoyed myself on stage, did my 'closer' then "I'm Erica Scott, thank you very much, enjoy the rest of the show"....as I walked off stage, people started to stand and clap. I turned around, the whole room was standing and cheering and clapping and smiling AT ME! I courtseyed, said thank you and then skipped away! I had just recieved my first standing ovation! It was a good night! A good night indeed!
